🚀 Airaid Cold Air Intake System for 2009-2012 DODGE/RAM: Boost Horsepower with Superior Filtration – AIR-301-237 Review

Very easy installation. Sounds great, increased MPG from 10 to 14. I also got a throttle body gasket and that helps too. But it costs money.

The quality of the Airaid system is excellent, the fit and installation instructions were great, the sound under the hood is great and when you step on it it makes you beautiful GRRRROOOL. Didn't you get a real increase in gas mileage as expected? Even if I calm down?

I first ordered a K&N air intake but I wasn't happy with the quality so I didn't want to spend that much on Airaid. I was surprised that Airaid is a high quality product. I test jet engines and work with the highest quality parts in the world every night and I was impressed by this system.

It took about an hour to install. The instructions were great and easy to understand even if you don't know anything about working with vehicles. The sound is amazing, a very noticeable low hum when you open the throttle. I haven't traveled long enough to determine if it helps with gas economy, but there is better throttle response. Put in a 2012 Ram 2500 Power Wagon 5.7 Hemi.

I fitted this to my truck after only 200 miles so can't say if it helped the MPG. I also have to give up riding like an old man, so I never noticed a performance increase before and after. The installation took about an hour with the help of my buddy. It was very simple: remove the old, insert the new. The hardest part was getting the converter out of the bearing but that was because I didn't know that a simple 1/4 turn with soft nose pliers would loosen it. . Also have aviation scissors handy…
