This is a good priced product with a good design and great features. I bought this to build some heavy duty power strips for my home construction/renovation project. The STD 50 ft "110-120" vacuum cords found at hardware stores are not rated for the amperage of a table saw or even a good circular saw. I already had a #10 3 strand stranded copper cable and simply fitted a 2 port 20A switch box to one end of my cable and added this connector to the other to get a >15A 120V AC cord , which provides enough current to power the supply. saws.
