A must have for every owner of a cropped Nikon camera! A lens for every day. I bought it three years ago, since then I have bought / sold / tried different lenses. But 35 is as it was, and is, and I'm not going to part with it. Its pros: Compact. Sharp wide open, razor sharp closed down. Light coloured. Inexpensive. Autofocus. Bayonet fastening - metal. Cons below: The focus ring is a little loose. However, there are no front / back focuses on my copy, so I almost always trust autofocus.
