I spent over an hour and a half fitting them securely to my Infiniti QX60 mirrors. No luck - the car's exterior mirrors are beveled in two planes: from left to right and from the front surface to the back surface. Those "universal" towing mirrors aren't really that versatile. If my mirrors were square/rectangular in all planes they would probably work fine. But cone-shaped mirrors are their disadvantage. Also, the bottom clamps didn't fit snugly to the mirror body, no matter how much I adjusted the rubber clamps, they moved fairly freely. The top was very tight. Maybe the bottom elastics are sticky enough to keep them from slipping when tightened. With that in mind, I tried pressing the bottom clips firmly against the mirror body THEN tightening the ratchet strap, but that didn't work. Epic failure. We return to Raven.
