Not sensitive enough
I bought this for my 83 year old mother. She can clap but it requires a loud sharp sound to work and my mom just doesn't have the strength in her hands to clap in the way this device requires to work. So, what happens is I will hear my mom try several times, and I have to go to her room and clap for her. It's a convenient device but not for elderly.
