Perfect up to the point of discoloration!

Thought I would like these sheets. All my boxes ticked. 18" deep to cover corners without bunching. Very soft and comfortable. When making the bed I noticed that the sheets were discolored in certain areas. I don't know what caused it. I washed them before putting them on the bed which I always do with new sheets Disappointed after seeing this Would you like to know why this is happening?
