Review on meross Smart Garage Door Opener: Apple 🚪 HomeKit, Alexa, Google Assistant Compatible, No Hub Required by Christopher Wiggins

Update: I returned this to Revane/Meross. I can't get this to work with the Home app or the Meross app. Meross support finally contacted me but it was too late and after I had already returned it. I would not recommend this device to anyone due to the lack of support from the manufacturer. Original: I just got this and so far it has failed miserably. I bought MSG100HK, checked the labels on the box and the HomeKit sticker on the unit. Following Meross' instructions, I can't add any accessories to HomeKit. I've added several devices from different manufacturers to HomeKit so I know how to do it. HomeKit identifies this as a garage door opener, but then throws an "an unknown error has occurred" error. I've reset Meross a couple of times but it didn't help. I sent a request to Meross support and am waiting for their response. One unsatisfied customer so far.
