One word: AM-A-ZING!
I've been looking for a way to keep cilantro fresh in the fridge for over 4 days. I've tried different things in the past: in a ziplock bag, in a jar with some water and covered with a plastic bag, in a jar with no water with a lid, etc. etc. with no success. In December 2002 I put 2 bundles in a plastic container with one of these leaves on the bottom, then a paper towel and cilantro on the paper towel, today there is one of the bundles that I haven't used and it looks fresh and healthy! It's been almost a month! I'm just amazed!
