I didn't use the included drill bit (I have the best masonry bit) but the included screwdriver comes in handy because one is never enough. The torx shaped head makes them easy to drive in (I used an impact wrench), they hold firmly in the grout between the bricks and can withstand enough force. Time will tell how they hold up to the elements, but so far so good.
