Review on 🏞️ Organic & High-Quality Hermit Sand Substrate Blend by Angel Brown

My three hermit crabs love it! I had them for a few months and they were lethargic, shy and didn't shed so I knew I had to make changes. At that time I only used Eco Earth as a substrate. Now I have half a tank of this sand and half a skein of Eco Earth and they are so happy! Now they are very active, constantly conducting large-scale excavations. As soon as I switched to this, they immediately started shedding. I've had hermit crabs for a year and a half and the smallest is the same size as the largest when I first got it. Maybe the bad reviews had to do with what breed of crab these people had(?). Mine are all purple pinschers. The downside is that they only sell small packages. I try to make the substrate very deep so that the crabs can molt normally. I need 2-3 bags to properly cover half of a 10 gallon tank (the other half is Eco Earth). Because of this, it's a bit expensive. I wish they would either sell the big bags or lower the price of the small bags.
