The pin for the float switch (which is not described as required in the instructions) was missing and it was not obvious that due to the design it needed to be installed. The float fell apart and flooded my basement after the first use. Make sure the pin is in the tiny hole in the switch body and the float arm is in, or you will be in for a nasty surprise. Warranty and install my own type of pin to fix it in the switch body to make it work and clean the water in a few hours with a freshly bought shop vacuum. Let's hope the stitched patch holds up. It would be a decent product if sold with all the necessary parts and a parts list. Neither did mine.
