looks aren't everything. It looks and feels like an OEM replacement, but it's not. I had to rip this thing out and replace it with a genuine VW part due to oil leaks that cannot be repaired. The plastic is thin and will deform and shrink over time with heat. It's a pity that I only found out about this late and too late to come back to it again. The supplied rubber seal is also scrap. It gets hard after a while. Don't buy this. Buy a genuine OEM part from VW or pick up a used one.
