I bought this monitor for professional use in my home office in 2020 to replace my triple $999 27" Apple monitors that I used to work side-by-side with. In general I am very happy with them. different programs in one big view instead of having to use 3 monitors to see everything I need to see in my normal workday, ideal for professionals who use multiple programs at the same time, such as Adobe Suite. However, the monitor is not color calibrated for OSX. (Not for me anyway.) To fix this I downloaded the OSX GAMMA CONTROL app so I can manually adjust colors, brightness and gamma for color calibration since it's a native white point. This inexpensive app is great for calibrating your colors and white points, which is especially important if you use Photoshop. It's a really great monitor and is stunning at around 3-4 feet and works great with a MacBook Pro, but I wish they would ditch the old HDMI, display ports and USB 2.0 ports in favor of additional USB-C ports You Luddites with old USB 1.0 plugs that are slowly being forgotten. My next monitor in the future (if someone decides to build them) will be an even larger size than a 55-inch 8k curved display, assuming it's under $2,000. Overall, a great monitor, great purchase, great experience.
