Review on πŸ•οΈ SILVERANT Titanium Ultralight Pot Pan Mess Kit Set: Perfect for Camping, Backpacking & Hiking with Folding Handles, Gradation Marks, and Mesh Bag by Ricky Lahoti

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lightweight and efficient

Pot and pan exactly as advertised, lightweight and handy for camping essentials. The handles fold very snugly against the body when not in use and the handles interlock very well to provide a strong and secure footing. I figured I'd need gloves or something similar when handling the hot pot, but metal handles don't transmit heat at all (remember to fold the pot handles down before turning on the heat). The pot/pan itself transfers heat very well - I've even found that it gets very hot if washed quickly with hot water. I can't help but mention the mesh pocket. I haven't tested him fully, but something tells me he's going to be the most underrated player on this team. Simply as a wet bag for dunking and washing small dishes in a basin, or for transporting toilet trees and other items to and from the camping toilet, this bag comes in very handy. A tip: be sure to use olive oil when preparing a spray or other non-stick substance. Matte coated titanium can be quite sticky. However, after sitting in soapy water for a while, I was able to rub off the burnt bits of the quesadilla. It's ok for car camping, but if I was camping I'd prefer the factory non-stick coating. Finally, I'd like to reiterate another review I read here about how pot and pan sizes can easily match. better. A locking mechanism or a slightly lighter shape can benefit the two, especially when it comes to using one as a lid. Overall a decent set.
