The handles get hot when the lid is closed

The only downside to this set is the design of the handles. If you want to reduce the cooking time by closing the lid, you will be surprised that the lid lowers the handles down as shown in the picture. So the handles are in a hot stream of gas and get very hot. To stay updated.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • A bit torn

Super light and efficient - get it right

When I opened the bag I was amazed at how light these two items were. The pot is great for cooking for crowds and boiling water for coffee, pasta, or rehydrating meals. I used a frying pan to make pancakes because who doesn't love pancakes in nature? Heat distribution is a little concentrated, so be careful when cooking, but c'mon, all that cooking isn't going to break your back.

Lightweight and durable kitchen set

This set is great for on the go when you can cook a big meal for a couple of people. While this kitchen set is a little large/bulky for one person to carry in their backpack for a short trip, it's incredibly light, stacks well, and you can pack other kitchen essentials inside to keep your backpack small. My only complaint is that the large pot doesn't have a dedicated lid or handle to hang/lift it over a fire for cooking. Other than that, this is a great set that has served me well so far.

Nice cooking set! - Camping and Hiking

I've had the cooking set for a couple of weeks now and I'm very happy with it! They claim to be lightweight but I was still surprised when I received them - the whole set adds very little weight to my backpack and is a good size for cooking meals for me and my husband. Pots are fine for cooking and reheating food with some sort of liquid (like chili), but I haven't tried drier foods (like pancakes or eggs) so I'm not sure they'll stick. I like how the handles fold down for packing, but wishโ€ฆ

Decent product but immature

They are big and very strong. Great for a 3 or 4 person meal. However, size pros and cons. You need a powerful stove to compensate for the surface area that cools the water when you try to boil it. Nesting needs improvement. They sit on top of each other, but are loose and not fixed. The handles have no protective coating to avoid burning your hands. It would be nice if there were markings on the inside of the pot so you can see the amount of water in the pot. A small filler lip would also beโ€ฆ

Fits about 1.5 liters

My first thoughts are that I am neutral about this product. I've turned two photos upside down to show how the lid/pan fits. This is not how other products fit together. I have this big pot for family camping and this big one is hard to find. I only found three of these sizes. I bought this one because it was the cheapest on sale and the only one that had a pan lid. I'm wondering if the company put the pot and lid/pan together for exceptional value? Or did the company combine everything to make

Lightweight and energy efficient pot and pan combo

This is a pretty cool 2-3 person pot and pan combo that efficiently stores all your dishes, including stove and fuel. I weighed the pot 192g and the pan (lid) 143g. The pan fits snugly in the pot, although it doesn't snap or "snap" into place. The handles, although very light, easily hold a full pot or pot of water, they feel sturdy. I wanted to test their ability to keep hot water hot so I filled a saucepan with 165F water and covered it with a lid with a small hole for a thermometer. Theโ€ฆ

Doesn't distribute heat evenly

I traveled the Catalina Island with this set for about four days. There were two of us, so the big pot made sense. I also prefer cooking my own meals to pre-packaged dried foods. The saucepan is ideal for cooking liquid food. The frying pan almost burned. There was no heat distribution or regulation, so anything cooked on it just burned. Even when the food wasn't burnt, it had a burnt/slightly metallic taste from the burnt pan. I tried just holding the pan over a camp stove so the heat wasn'tโ€ฆ

Cons

Lightweight and efficient

Pot and pan exactly as advertised, lightweight and handy for camping essentials. The handles fold very snugly against the body when not in use and the handles interlock very well to provide a strong and secure footing. I figured I'd need gloves or something similar when handling the hot pot, but metal handles don't transmit heat at all (remember to fold the pot handles down before turning on the heat). The pot/pan itself transfers heat very well - I've even found that it gets very hot if washed
