Review on Netgear DM111P Broadband Wired ADSL2 by Nick Griffith

I bought this because the phone company wants $200 for their home modem. I set it up and it got blocked once every 2 days. I hooked it up to a Christmas tree timer and turned it off for 15 minutes a day (at least when the tree timer went off) so it restarted once a day. it worked for 9 months and then not every day. I had to add 45 minutes to the shutdown time to keep it running. Another 3 months and I had to borrow a DSL from a friend to order an ActionTec DSL modem that lasted 3 years with no forced reboots or tree timers.
