Review on 🌊 EcoSmart ECO 11 Electric Tankless Water Heater with Patented Self Modulating Technology – 13KW, 240 Volts by Brad Arthur

My device started tripping my main switch after 16 months. I contacted support and they wanted me to check something. Wire size, connectors, correct switch, etc. I've done everything and even replaced the switch. Still failed. They sent a troubleshooting guide and I followed all the steps again. The manual said I couldn't tear off the label to get inside the device. I opened up the unit and measured the correct voltages on the heating elements and ran a resistance check on each of the heating elements. The heating elements were out of order. (as I was told by the support staff). Upon opening the unit I found that one of the heating elements was freezing when the unit was running. It wasn't even warm. This seemed to explain one thing I saw while using the device. It would never heat water above 109. I assumed this was the temperature of the incoming water and it was as hot as it could be. I had no problem with that as 109 is still too hot to shower. I told support what I found. He gave me his number and asked me to call and he will send a new set. I called, got a message that he was in a meeting. I left a message with all my contact details but they never called me back. I sent another letter. Now I was asked to check the elements for corrosion or contamination. I did it. You looked good. Remember this takes a long time. Turning off the water, removing the elements, replacing, etc. Luckily there were no leaks after that. I sent several emails asking for a new ban and haven't received a reply since. This went on for several weeks. All in all it was quite a bad buy. It never worked properly and then when it started causing problems with my house, the warranty was not honored. I advise against buying this device.
