Review on Restrictor APLusee Pressure Reducer Shut Off by Michael Walker

Saves water. on rough plumbing

I live in a self contained solar powered home in Northern Arizona. Near the Grand Canyon, the water table is over 3000 feet lower. Well drilling will have to wait until I win the lottery. So I have to haul water and pump it from the water trailer to my 2650 gallon water tank that supplies the cab. If I have to carry water, I like to be conservative with my water usage, and my showerhead is anything but conservative. I placed this APLusee Brass Shower Shutoff Valve between the shower head and the pipe to limit water flow to about 1 GPM (up from nearly 3 GPM). That's enough for my soul. The APLusee brass shut-off valve for the APLusee shower is infinitely adjustable from full flow to full stop and everywhere in between. When I first installed it, it leaked around the threads. A little teflon tape fixed everything though. Overall I think a control valve is a good investment.
