Review on Kingston Brass DR614167 Claremont 16-Inch Decorative Grab Bar in Brushed Brass by Jorge Eckstein
Painted, not oiled
End pieces and mounting plates are cast from heavy gauge brass. The tube isn't magnetic, so I'm assuming it's brass as well. Looks nice. However, the finish is not true copper and is not oxidized oil bronze. A similar color with no copper reflections but sprayed with some kind of paint.
