This was an (almost) perfect replacement for the previous kit for my electronic brake pads. The horseshoe washer was a bit thinner (about twice as thin) as my previous one, so I reused the old ones. There are a few tricks that make it a lot easier to mount the washer and spring assembly onto the pins. Use 45° and/or 90° needle nose pliers to tighten the washer/spring/washer assembly (as a unit) and then secure it to the pin. You can then install the assembly and rotate it into place on the pin. and use another zip tie to compress the other side of the spring so it can be held in place until you are ready to mount the rotor. It made the process *so* less painful than if I were trying to put all three parts onto one pin separately - I honestly don't see how I'm even supposed to try that. You can search YouTube and find a few people to show you the step-by-step process, but they don't use zip ties. Trust me, using them will make the nightmare a lot easier.
