Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Tan Faux Leather Rolling Office Chair by Urban Shop: Stylish and Functional Design by George Scoles

Looks good but the wheels don't work.

I rarely write product reviews. However, I recently bought two identical chairs. The chairs out of the box are easy to assemble and look really good/feel more expensive than they are. However, I quickly noticed that the castors/wheels are stiff and some of them have so much friction that they don't turn freely. (Ironically, this chair is advertised as a "rolling" office chair; it's not!) The wheels drag over hard surfaces and scratch my hardwood floor. I've tried a low-pile carpet and the wheels behave slightly better, but still hardly turn and changing direction is very taxing and unpredictable given the drag of multiple wheels. This applies to both chairs so I think it's a quality issue with the wheels themselves. I'll try using spray lube (WD40) to see if I can reduce wheel friction, but with a brand new product I absolutely don't need to! I understand this was a cheap product but I'm surprised the wheels aren't working properly. The finish of the chair is nice and the other functions appear to be fine - the chair swivels well and the plunger works with no issues either. *Update: After spraying the casters and wheels with WD-40, the chair moves a little better on my surfaces, but still not perfect. It definitely seems like there are manufacturing issues affecting the wheel. Some wheels spin, most brake.
