For $25 this was impressive. My husband didn't want the cables to be visible as he installed this for my father who has a truck for his small boat. The truck has a Kenwood head unit after the sale. He pulled the Kenwood out and ran wires behind the body panels and panels to get to the rear of the truck. He climbed out of the cab and attached it to a wiring harness already in the truck with cable ties. Since my dad didn't want to add an extra screen to his dash, we used his existing head unit to connect it. It was a day's work, but it saved my dad a $1,500 tech package to have a dealer install something like this. Can only recommend this little camera. It's been in the torrential rain in Kansas for a few months, cold and hot, and it's still working great.
