Review on Amana Tool Carbide Straight Production Power & Hand Tools by James Lighting

Extremely sharp carbide edge, should only be handled with leather/suede work gloves. I thought Amana beats were made in the USA but this one is made in Israel. However, it appears to be of very high quality and leaves very smooth edges and floors when used on kiln dried mahogany (see photo). No breaks at low feed speeds with Porter 75182 cables running at 10,000 RPM. For plunge cuts and simple slits I will be using these center point straight plunge cutters instead of my much more expensive spiral cutters to extend the life of the latter.
