As a calcium supplement this is premium quality. It works and works well IF you can get your bird to actually eat it. It's a big "if" because the powder is so fine that it coats to the point where it washes away all the colors and patterns in the foods you mix it with. - hence the attractiveness of the food. The cheerful colors of my favorite birds, Tsupreemny granules turn snow-white - almost like powdered donuts, except they are clearly not tasty. In fact, I can't get my birds to eat at all with food on the plate covered in this powder. It literally clings to and sticks to everything. It's very difficult to measure out and you have no idea how much you're adding using the scoop that comes with it. No supplement is effective if you can't get your bird to eat it. If you choose to do it, LESS YES MORE. Add it to a very small amount of food and then add the coated food to a larger amount to ensure your birds retain the flavor and color they desire. There's absolutely no point in starving birds by using too much at once.
