This Coffee maker requires an 8" inch brew basket, it comes with a 7" inch brew basket, this does not hold the brew pipe in the base of the burner, this allows it to lean on the side wall of the decanter, during the brewing process this causes the hot water to gather to one side of the brew basket and spill coffee grounds out of the basket into the decanter were they sink to the bottom and clog up the spigots!Other than that, it's a fine pot. That is if you don't mind coffee grounds in your morning joe!
