Good device for serial interface cards
I have a new computer with Windows 7. No RS232 ports of course, just USB and I have a GPS that I needed to connect. After looking for a Windows 7 compatible DBI to USB converter and looking at various cards, I settled on this one. Installation was free and Windows 7 already had the driver on the system (no need to use a driver CD). After the initial crash I changed the COM port from 2 to 1 and bingo it works great. The only point of criticism is the price for the "outdatedβ port.
