Three years ago I tore a ligament which required repairs and ended up wearing a cast on my foot for about a month and a half. I was at Bed Bath and Beyond prior to my surgery and knew I needed something so I bought the only bath chair they had. It was a bit junk but it helped me get through the shower when I couldn't get the cast wet. Too bad I didn't order instead. thats much better! Now you might be wondering why am I buying another one if I really don't need it? It's true - I'm not elderly and don't need help showering or bathing, and I don't have a fancy spa steam shower or anything. But once I had my original high chair, it became a permanent fixture in my bathroom. It held my clothes when I showered, was comfortable to sit on while epilating or lotioning my legs. I also relied on it to sit, dig in the two small floor level drawers at the bottom of the bathroom cabinets, as well as really clean the tub and even if I had to apply new tub rim sealer. Finally one day the legs of the original crappy cheap chair bent completely and lost their shape - I dropped it - but missed it. I'm so glad I got this one as a replacement. It's VERY durable - takes up less leg space, is height adjustable, looks lovely (for industrial medical equipment anyway) and unlike my other one which didn't really fit in my bathtub - this one easily fits feet due to the low profile - even if I push it to the back of the tub, which is narrower. Plus - unlike the other, this one fits the edge of my tub - so if I want two legs on the bathroom floor and two legs in the tub at the same time - no problem - as the legs are adjustable - plus no storage issues. Level or - the legs are adjustable. My other one didn't work at all - plus I had to stuff it in the tub to make it fit. But this one is PERFECT! To be honest it looks too industrial and medicinal for my liking but it is what it is. Now I'm looking for cover for him. While the seat looks great even in my mostly white bathroom, the silver metal legs confuse me with the blue legs. I'm hoping to find (or make) something to just cover my legs - then it will look really cute while sitting in my bathtub! PS - I have no idea about the included suction cup. I actually gave it to my parents, who don't really need it either, but they're older than me, so maybe. Otherwise it would just be wasted. But I don't think they used it yet. The shower pillow is also ok. It's a little cheap - but I can't complain as it was free. :) The chair is amazing!
