I used this to clean up a yoga mat, wood flooring and some of my PC ( I do not recommend that but it worked for me). The suction power is very strong, it got stuck on the wood floor a few times with different attachments, the yoga mat got stuck on it too so I wouldn't recommend this for softer rollup mats, it works well, I couldn't see any debris after I was done. I moved it over a metal frame on my standing desk but there was still finer dust on the surface, it's not a matter of power I think, it's just fine dust stuck on there good, the kind you can quickly move off with your finger. Usually I like to use a few rags to wipe off the dirt from wooden floors, then wet rags after to get it a bit cleaner, it's a quick method for me and I enjoy the exercise out of it. If you're going to use this regularly you are going to need earplugs, it is loud, tolerable but loud, long term use without protection will probably give you ear damage.
