Much easier to use than pins. They are easier to use and take less time. You don't have to worry about piercing yourself (which I often do with needles). They do not puncture fabrics (especially satin/silk). They have a strong grip and hold up very well. Also when moving the fabric. But the most important thing for me is that they are easy to find when dropped. I have pets and I've always been nervous about dropping a pin. It's good to know that if I lose one of these, it won't hit my leg or any of my pets. Definitely easier and better quality! Recommended for every channel.
