Review on PL4040V4 Molded Baseball Shoes by New Balance by Donald Gore

I am trying to replace my 15 season baseball shoe with replacement cleats which are coming loose at the seams after four sets of cleat inserts. First, no one makes shoes with replaceable cleats anymore, which is another symptom of our throwaway society. That's shameful. Also, they're all plastic now. It never lasts more than a season or two before it crashes. Real leather or good synthetics can do that, but are very hard to come by. Instead, we get this shiny pop bottle junk. Then shoe manufacturers are constantly sacrificing good physiology for style. These shoes, like many others, taper towards the end in an unnatural way. Our feet aren't usually this shape, and the result is bursitis and other toe problems. I don't have wide feet. In fact, they are quite narrow. But I don't have triangular feet either. Also, I bought half a size up to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable. I wear a 10-1/2 US and the size 11 in this shoe made me feel the front of the toe. It also compresses as I described. I had to wear them to a tournament and now I'm stuck with them. My realm for shoes with interchangeable spikes, good construction and physiologically correct shape. I didn't think it would be so hard to find.
