Can be used like a cat fountain (with the flow control on low so it doesn't shoot like a sprinkler because it flows fast), a water pump in the attic to fix a rainwater leak on the roof (use the motion detection switch to turn it on/off when it sees water dripping, then pump into the outlet water pipe from the air conditioner), pump the water out of the draining a clogged dishwasher filter, using a generator in emergency situations during a water/power outage, to pump water from a tank, and to pump high water from typical reservoirs during floods. Of course, it is also suitable for fish, in addition, the timer for watering plants turns on. You need a heavy duty/anti-gravity pump to do many of these things, a simple siphon takes too much work and can't be automatic. but the fact that I can control the flow is a huge bonus. it doesn't come with a motion detector or a timer, but these can be found cheaply and give the pump more options. I highly recommend this one! Convince yourself of the flow rate compared to others, best value for money!
