I bought this humidifier because the one I had before made noises that prevented me from falling asleep. I love that it's so quiet and I love that it comes with a remote control so I can just turn it on and off and do whatever I want without even getting out of bed. This is perfect for use in the living room and bedroom. I put it next to the bed so that the room doesn't get too dry in winter when the heating is on.
