This playpen is good if your dog can't climb. Our 9 week old Beagle was born in a few days. He knows how to do it, thanks to horizontal bars. It defeats the purpose, but more importantly, he injured himself trying to get out. Once his paw got stuck when he climbed over it and his whole body hung on the paw. Luckily we were home and helped him before he got seriously hurt. For this reason we are sending it back. If you're not worried about your dog getting out, then this is a good option. It comes pre-assembled and is very easy to mold into the desired shape. It's easy to move from one area to another.
