I bought this KVM to share a 4K@30Hz monitor between two Windows 10 laptops with DisplayPort video connections. I want to extend each laptop's display to a shared monitor and switch back and forth. Issue: When switching, all windows on the second display move back to the primary. This is because KVM does not support EDID emulation. It would be nice if I mirrored the main display of every laptop. I replaced it with another KVM that supports EDID emulation and got the behavior I wanted: the windows on the 4k monitor stay in place and are still there when I switch back.
