Review on Hopkins 52002 1 Pole Trailer Connector by Eddie Simpkins

Then I looked further and discovered that the connector is actually two pieces held together by a screw (which is quite small). The bolt seemed to have decided to act as a fuse and turned into a molten piece of metal. Looks like it's going to fail no matter what. The screw was tiny and the current load that this plug had to carry is high (about 150-200A). If the screw loosens a bit, the screw is the only thing carrying the load.
