The InSinkErator is easy to swap out - uses the same 3-hole hardware

I don't usually write reviews but after installing and using the Moen GSX75C I thought I'd share my thoughts on installing and using it this junk remover. I've been a fan of InSinkErator removal for years. I've installed four over the years, two for my kids and two for me. However, the most recently installed faucet started leaking at the bottom of the unit rather than the water connection after only 3 years of use. The Moen GSX75C was easy to install and used the same three-screw InSinkErator mount that was already installed on the sink. All I had to do was disconnect the plumbing and then disconnect the old disposal and replace it with a Moen GSX75C. Removing the old disposal I installed the outlet I always wanted as the Moen is already plugged into the outlet like a lamp; However, you do not have to use a pre-wired installation and can wire the device just like the InSinkErator. I installed this device myself. There were no hiccups or glitches during the installation of Moen. Is the Moen GSX75C as quiet as the InSinkErator 777 I replaced? No, but the noise level is acceptable and not objectionable when washing dishes; for it is used in the kitchen, not in the church sanctuary.
