The material is thinner than you think.

something thin so the creases are on the sides and sometimes on top if you forgot to smooth everything out after raising the bed. It was too big for my king size bed and unless you have king size pillows the pillowcases were too big. Queen size would be better for me and regular size pillows. The bedspread is much larger than a blanket.
