But works fine. for fan and cooling

First of all, I like this holder. Solid piece of metal. Flat black. Not a terribly big, obnoxious logo. Customizable support for compatibility with a wide range of graphics cards. And the full-length RGB address bar is just sexy. The only minor issue with the design is that the adjustable plastic foot feels a little flimsy. A metal pad with a soft pad on top of the pad is ideal. Anyway, I'm hesitant to put the full weight of my Asus ROG Strix GPU on this piece of plastic. It is, and it's a bit of a hassle to install. Now the strange thing is that my splitter cable came with a defect. That is not how it works. I've tried this on multiple RGB connectors on two different motherboards, MSI and Gigabyte. Luckily I had a 4 to 3 adapter cable plugged in for my Gigabyte board (also pictured) and it worked right away. Bad luck? Quality Control Issues? Odd #2 - it comes with a copper connector cable (see picture) and I can't figure out why. The instructions say this is for connecting a splitter cable, but the necessary pins are already built into it. Part of me thinks the problem with the bad splitter cable is because the wrong cable was packaged. One that really needed that jumper and was therefore compatible with that mount. Overall I like this mount but would have had to return it if I didn't have an additional Argb cable adapter lying around.
