Review on 🔦 H87988111 Clear Stone Shield for HELLA 550 Series Lamp: Ultimate Protection for Enhanced Visibility by Kevin Elliott

I bought a set of these covers for my new Hella 550 headlights (great headlights) and after a month one of the headlight lenses cracked despite wearing the cover. I think it happened on a highway in New Mexico. If so, this would be the second time my car has had broken glass on the streets of New Mexico. This place is literally "New" Mexico. Many of the roads there are sandy, strewn with rubble and pebbles, and heavy trucks constantly drive and collect rubbish. However, around the same time, my car was attacked by eggs in a poor immigrant town in central California. I'm not sure if the kids who did this made it public or not. Whatever struck my Hella 550 lamp, it did so with enough force to transmit energy through the transparent stone shield and shatter the glass lens of the lamp below. Maybe the light still works because the shield absorbs the impact. By the way, the sign is fine. I'm not sure if these cases are worth it or not. If you have extra money, maybe. The covers attach easily to the light fixture and without knowing what you are looking for you won't even know they had covers.
