Makes an addict out of your Cavvy

Whatever it is that they put in this Cavalier specific recipe, my fur ball gulps it down, licking the plate clean. I mix it with a couple of teaspoons of Whole Earth Farms adult formula or Wellness Core Venison and lamb canned foods.Originally, I used the generic green bag Royal Canin and he would take an hour to eat it. There is definitely something in the Cavvy formula that drives them crazy!Well worth the extra cost.

Kibble is a good size for a CKC

Our CKC is 2 1/2 years old, and she needs a good dog food. This food is contains grains and wheat, which are a good thing for dogs. She is a picky eater. I've found another brand she likes a little better, high in good nutrients but unfortunately grain free -- which our veterinarian said is thought to be bad for dog heart health. So for now I've been mixing them together (vet approved this), and that is working better. The kibble size seems easy for her to eat. I will continue to buy this…

My wife's Cavalier really likes it.

My wife's Cavalier King Charles spaniel was eating is turds. I read this was good for her breed of dog. It took about 90 days or so, this was back in 2009 or so (it is 2019 meow) and the wife and I have not seen him even look at his waste. We have pretty much been feeding him this one type for years and no problems.

Good food! - my new review

Dog likes it. He had digestive issues as a puppy but on his adult dog food no issues, and no diarrhea when switching from the puppy food. His coat and eyes look good.

Don't Go for Cheaper Brands

Royal Canin Cavalier is well worth the money! We didn't start this food until our guy was 1.5 years and we regret not giving it to him sooner. Benefits: his coat has come in fuller and more lustrous, he has more energy, and his eyes are bright and alert. Cavalier's have the potential for many health problems and therefore, it is essential that they have an appropriate diet. This is what the breeder recommended

My 18 month-old puppy has been eating this since she was weened and the breeder recommended this because of the great nutritional value and it also has great cardiovascular benefits, especially for this breed so I stick with it. Maddie likes it softened though, so I add some water to it and let it sit for 20-30 minutes and then she eats it. I give her 2/3 cups in the morning and 1/3 in the evening. It is expensive though and I wonder why you can't find a bigger bag than 10 lbs?

Tried and True - Perfect for my Cavalier

Ok, to be honest, give the flavor 5 stars based solely on my dog's reaction.I think he's being honest. I haven't tasted it myself. I've used this product for years and recommend it for you Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. My little one loves, LOVES it.

Skin and digestive issues

We have 2 cavaliers. One did well with this food. The other had loose stool and hot spots. We have switched to grain free and stool is better now. Next we will eliminate chicken. SOOOOO, wish they had this grain and chicken free.

Nutritionally balanced for Cavs. Eliminated the red staining from tears which I’m positive was caused by a nutritional deficiency from her previous diet (Natural Balance).

Infested with Bugs: my feedback

I've ordered this product twice now. The second time bag I ordered was infested with little black bugs - tWhrew it away - Will NOT purchase again - going back to my previous brand of Fromm.
