Does the Job best in my review

Pliable enough to get wire lever in but returns to original shape after, big plus. Eady to use tiny screws frustrating for larger slightly arthritic fingers.

Pros
  • They are resistant to harsh weather conditions, such as rain, snow, and extreme temperatures
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in humid environments

Easiest splice ever

I have always used wire nuts for splicing power cable. This is so much easier, with no twisting to bother my arthritis, and takes so much less space than wire nuts.I have only used one out of my multi-pack because all I needed was to splice a 3-wire pigtail to a 3-wire lead. I only wish these had been available when I was re-wiring a basement during a renovation.

Pros
  • These connectors are easy to use even for those with limited electrical experience
Cons
  • May not provide adequate strain relief

Beats soldering or crimp connectors

Replacing ancient soldered 8v radio dial light bulbs in an 80s Sherwood receiver. These connectors were the best solution to avoid soldering and crimp fasteners in a fragile environment. No instructions, so it took a couple of tries to get enough bare wire exposed within the connector. Was joining stranded and solid (1980s) wire of different gauge (16 and 22) for each connection. Open the lever, stick in the wire, close the lever. Done.I do not think these would last a long time under tension…

Pros
  • The connectors are made of high-quality materials that resist wear and tear, which ensures they last for years
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all types of electrical systems
