These are really good so far. I purchased 3 and they overlap slightly to block sun on one side of my house. They filter the light well enough to not heat up the windows or walls nearly as much as without these. I would say an easy 40 degrees or so cooler on the window glass on my interior after installing these.As far as durability goes, so far they have been great. I would only give this 3 stars for the actual quality of the material. The description says it's commercial quality, but I can not believe that. It feels and looks more like a distressed tarp, one that's been out in the wind for awhile but doesn't have any holes yet. It seems to be effective and was fairly easy to put up. I'm glad I didn't pay more than $50 for it, otherwise I probably would have sent it back. We'll see what it looks like after 1 season of use.

I like the product, and I think its a good buy, but what messy packaging! I have never received anything that looked quite as bad. It wasn't folded at all. It was basically shoved into a plastic bag. Part of the rope it came with was cut, and unraveling. No way his wasn't a return. Not treated with the care I expect from revain! The product was used to shade our Koi pond. Rope was included so we measured, cut and placed where needed. All done and fish have shade.

This is not our first Sail. This sail is a beautiful accent to our home and shades part of the area that gets blasted by the Sun. We have another for camping. Choose your hardware at the same time so you have everything you need to install. We attached it to our home on two anchor points and then to our privacy fence post that is reinforced 4 x 4. My husband will add one more board as we did not want to sink another post in the ground.
