I bought these to replace my old Dewalt NiCD batteries that were junk and expensive. I've had them about a month and only charged them once, when they first arrived. They are very good been used a lot and still showing full power. I can't comment on how long they will last at this point but I have been recommending them to all my friends that need batteries. Very good value for the money and cheaper and better than the original ones.

Just got these a few hours ago. They arrived half charged.because the led charge indicator told me so. I popped them in the charger for 30 minutes to top them off. Can't do that with NiCad.Then, I put them right to work in my 1/2 Impact Driver changing tires on my Highlander. 20 lug nuts off and 20 lug nuts back on in a matter of 15 minutes. Bought these for my husband for his Dewalt driver and drill. The name brand replacements were very expensive. These have done an amazing job, so far. Charge lasts a long time. 5 Stars from me!

Have bought multiple and have used for months with no issues. Trying to remove from some DeWalt tools are harder than others though.

So lightweight compared to NiCad. After about 15 years running my other two batteries I had to replace them. These batteries have great longevity so far and are legitimately 1/4 of the weight. Makes it quick and easy. Love the battery charge qty indication on the side as well. I used to just get surprised when the battery was used up.

I haven't had these batteries for very long at all but, the difference from the old Dewalt batteries are very noticable. Both batteries died within four months of purchase. I use the DeWalt standard charger which charges NiCad and Lithiium and which indicated the batteries were charging, as did the indicator on the side of the batteries. And then they died.

Batteries worked OK when they 1st arrived now one of the 2 batteries will not hold a charge and I have not had very long and have not used them very long. I don't know how long the 2nd battery is going to last.

This batteries were a great fix to my Dewalt drill battery problem.UNTIL.they failed. 6 months after the batteries were purchased, neither one is working. The first is completely dead. The second appears to be charged, runs for a few seconds, then dies. Hard to use a drill when your battery dies every few seconds. I'm hopeful the retailer will make this right and exchange my batteries. I would be happy to adjust this review if they do.

Delivered promptly and seem--so far--to last as long as the Dewalt Nicads. It would be nice to have Li-Ion available, though.

After 2.5 months of use in various Dewalt tools (drill/drivers, reciprocating saw, and finish nailer, I'm pleased with their performance. I have two Dewalt chargers and noticed one didn't seem to charge the batteries on the first attempt. Received these the other day. My initial impression is that these are going to be excellent replacements to the original NiCad. One of my two batteries failed to take a re-charge after a single use. DW9116 Charger will not even acknowledge insertion. The other battery, after repeatedly re-charging made it to "four-bars" of charge and operates very well, even in the Arizona heat. 50% satisfied, as stats go.

I am very impressed with these lithium ion batteries that replaced my old Dewalt Ni-Cd batteries. I’ve been using the same battery with my cordless tools for awhile and it is still going strong. These batteries also hold a full charge when sitting on shelf for months at a time.Note: When buying these batteries to replace your old, Ni-Cd ones, make sure to buy a new charger. A Lithium-ion requires a charger made for that style.

Over the past year I have bought these aftermarket replacement batteries from two sellers on Walmart. Total of four batteries , still using the OEM DW9116 charger.All batteries have failed within a year .I have taken all of them apart to investigate causes of failure : All have broken solder joints at battery pack interconnect wiring .Conclusion : Plastic Pack mold/casing is poor Spec. I bought these batteries as direct replacements for the original NiMH units that had worn out.The first project straight away was a loft bed built out of 2x4’s and 2x6’s, which necessitated a lot of screws and the use of a pocket hole jig. Not only did I manage to drill all the holes and install several dozen screws, the battery had nearly 50% capacity remaining at the end of the project!Relative to the original batteries, these have greater capacity, more endurance, and seem to charge quicker.
