Much better than plastic

These are so much sturdier than the plastic ones that come on furniture now. The only thing is, when you pull them for the foot rest you have to push/lean back like against the chair to get the foot rest to come up. It’s really no problem though considering the sturdiness of this metal.

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Could be difficult to find in stores or online shops

Easy to install - my new review

This was so easy to install. So much sturdier than the the one that originally was installed on my couch! It’s heavy duty metal so it will last longer than the plastic one that comes with the couch.

Pros
  • Loved this product, because it was easy to install!!
Cons
  • Could potentially break or snap with heavy use

Quick and easy. on my review.

A much Improved (Metal) design over similar Plastic ones which that break in about 90 days and they cost virtually the same. These seem to last around 8-10 months.Maybe longer.I didn't think to write down when I installed them so I'm not really sure. I just know that when I installed these in my reclining couch I have only changed 1 within the last year.

Pros
  • Suitable for both residential and commercial use
Cons
  • Could potentially cause damage to the mechanism of the recliner if pulled too hard

Great Replacement Part!

This is a QUALITY product! It closely matches the original Pull Handle on my Stratolounger, but it's FAR superior, because it's ALL METAL. The original part was plastic, and broke after only a year and a half. This part should have been used in the original construction. It works very smoothly.

Pros
  • Furniture
Cons
  • Could be prone to rust or other forms of corrosion over time

Great value in my review

Grandpa's recliner handle broke. This fixed the issue, easy to install and is durable. Much cheaper than buying a new recliner. Highly recommend

Pros
  • Metal looks good and fit perfectly. Good product.thank you
Cons
  • Could require frequent tightening or adjustment

Magic but loses a star

While these feel incredibly sturdy and are what should come with a couch in the first place, there are two issues. Both these issues were present on both handles. The first issue is that the holes to slide the lug in are millimeters too small, the paint makes it narrowly too tight. Easily solved with a metal file, luckily I had one the exact size. The second is both arrived slightly damaged. The retaining clip is just thrown into the bubble wrap bag with the handle and put chips and scratches on…

Pros
  • Highly resistant to wear and tear
Cons
  • Could be difficult to adjust to personal preference

Amazing Replacement

My Lazy Boy handle broke. It’s plastic. Bought this as a replacement. It’s metal. Took less than 5 min. Painless. Lazy Boy should use these to begin with. Extremely satisfied.

Pros
  • Enhances furniture's overall aesthetics
Cons
  • Could be subject to price fluctuations based on market availability

The line would not fit into the part.

I had to bore out one side of the hole where the "barrel" end of the line should have just went in and snapped in place. I used a drill bit and luckily made it work.

Pros
  • replaced a broken chair part
Cons
  • Could become loose or disconnected with heavy use

Better than Plastic

These are so much better than the plastic ones. I did have to drill out the hole that the cable barrel went in a little. Not too big a deal.

Pros
  • Offers greater ease of use and convenience
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other handle options available

An upgraded replacement

This part is even better than the original serta piece. It is stronger and smoother to pull. Installed in five minutes. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Provides a universal replacement solution
Cons
  • May not be compatible with some upholstery materials

Fantastic! on my review.

I have an Ashly recliner sofa and LOVED it until the plastic handle on the right side broke. I’d heard they don’t last and almost didn’t buy the sofa because of it. So I just started sitting on the other side. 5 months later the second one broke. Thank goodness for YouTube and Walmart! No instructions came with the parts and I would NEVER have figured it out BUT a YouTube video, 34$ and a bit of finagling to find the old screw holes and my sofa is like new! So much better than going out and…

Pros
  • Measure the Handle & Cable Connection Barrel Size
Cons
  • Could potentially require tools for installation

Way better than the plastic parts.

These are the best! I had to replace the cheap plastic pulls every 3 months. Now, this is the way to go, METAL! That's my review.

Pros
  • It's actually made of metal and feels sturdy but you do need to keep your cable to reinstall it.
Cons
  • Could become hot to the touch in warmer environments

I have a Flexsteel leather recliner and the handle broke and it would not recline. I watched some videos on how and what I could do to fix it. The cable to recline the chair was fine, it was just the handle. I could not wait for this to get to my house, I installed it as soon as the part came in the mail. Very easy to install and it has a how to- video on the purchase page on amazon. My chair works perfectly and as I said in the headline this is what should have been on the recliner in the…

Pros
  • Extends the life of furniture by replacing a key component
Cons
  • Could be less convenient to operate than other handle options available
