Not the location of the pants difference, though.

Works great with V8 LR4 engines due to smoother power delivery and easy acceleration with the added benefit of not having to buy a new filter. But if you're looking for a big win, this isn't it.

Snorts like a dragon

Great as always. This filter (technically two filters because it's a kit for the Jaguar 5.0 V8 dual intake design) made my LR4 snort like a kite. Immediate improvement in throttle response and idle quality. I always buy K&N when I get a new car. I have never been disappointed.

Good Quality - Air Filter

Good quality but not as thick as OE. A little more spice on my 2016 LR4 Sport Luxury but it needs cleaning every 20,000 miles. You need to let the filter dry before oiling it, make sure you don't spray too much oil as this will mess up the airflow gauge (you can always clean it with an AFM cleaner).

Good product but not for Range Rover

I'm a big fan of K&N filters so I'm giving 5 stars but this wasn't a good option for my Range Rover. Problems with the sensor started immediately. Would recommend for any other car but do yourself a favor and read the Land Rover blogs first before buying. Not me. It was my fault, not the product.

Good basic air cleaner upgrade

I noticed a difference in throttle response and tone right away. When revving up you can hear the intake air better and it growls under the hood. I've installed canister extraction systems in the past and they make a significant difference, it was significant but not on the same level but I didn't have to waste an arm and leg either.

K&N Filter for Range Rover Sport

Just put them in my Range Rover and see if the gas mileage increases. The Range Rover Sport is a 5.0 V8 engine that really can hit the highway. Replace paper filters that are only a year old. I noticed that the papers don't let you see the sunlight as they are quite opaque, but the K&N shows a lot of sun. It is therefore possible that the cotton/oil treatment allows more air to get inside. They're not as thick as paper, but they stick well. Looks very high quality.

Let it breathe a little

K&N what can I say about an air filter that does its job and does it well. I have been a long time K&N customer since the early 90's and have installed them on all my cars including my 2011 Land Rover LR4. I will not elaborate on air filter elements vs. OEM. or other aftermarket filters. I will tell you that your engine will love open air. It purrs at idle and growls at full throttle. I've noticed that the setup tends to shift between gears much more smoothly, not that it has a coarse shift…
