BOSTITCH-CAP2041ST-OL 4 gallon 135 PSI

I received this through the ebay Vine Program. Here is what i found: 1. The is a very compact unit that is well balanced. You will still need some strength to pick it up and move it around, but the balance is there so that it is not awkward. My previous compressor was a Makita MAC 2400 which is comparable in capabilities, but larger and with more weight. The design is similar, so balance and weight are not bad ways to compare. An excellent compressor, well-built, relatively light, nicely balanced and very portable

This Bostitch is an upgraded version of the CAP2040ST-OL. It is less expensive but provides comparable specs and is slightly lighter. It is supposed to be much quieter, but I have never used the older version so I cant judge. It is my supposition that the CAP2041ST-OL was developed as a competitor to the Makita MAC2400 which up until now has been the choice of most of us who bought an air compressor for home use or small contracting use. Air Compressors good for me

The Bostitch CAP2041ST-OL seems to be a winner.I have three air compressors and have decided to get rid of two. I was unsure as to which of the two smaller ones to keep. Rock solid air compressor.

There's a lot to like about this air compressor. First, it's very solidly built. I've got a Porter Cable that's similar in size and it's fine but the vibration from the motor tends to cause the compressor to slowly change location. Not a problem with the Bostitch. It's heavy enough to stay in position. That impacts the portability but with the easy carry handle this is a good trade off. The tanks are rated at 135 lbs. and load to full pressure very quickly. Stable and Well Made

I am very pleased with this compressor. It is fast and runs very stable. It is extremely well constructed.Overall, I can definitely recommend this unit. Mine runs like a champ.
