Love the wrap good for me

It’s a nice product, super simple to use.Not a fan of the metal zip ties that came with the wrap, they are junk and don’t keep tight; Better off using screw clamps to insure the wrap stays tight and in place. Over all satisfied. Also have plenty footage left over so I can wrap the exhaust manifold on my truck

Pros
  • The titanium exhaust heat wrap is made of non-flammable materials, making it safe for use
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on custom exhaust systems

Very good product. for my opinion

Installed on Dodge 3.9L factory exhaust manifolds, in lieu of factory heat shields/deflectors. Tape/material functions well. Time will tell, if the small, what looks like stainless, ties hold.

Pros
  • Good product, but fibers are dangerous. BE CAREFUL INSTALLING THIS.....
Cons
  • Ties may break with engine vibration

Needles and Pins for my opinion

I purchased this wrap for my VW classic beetle. The aftermarket exhaust was adding excessive heat to my engine compartment. The wrap did the job. I just dumped the wrap in a bowl of water and wrapped it with one end in the bowl. Highly recommend keeping it wet. This will keep the fibers from flying into the air as you wrap. Keep your skin covered. Safety goggles are a must. As soon as i was finished with the install, I vacuumed the entire area and my clothing. Some did make its way through my…

Pros
  • The stainless steel ties are strong and robust, ensuring the heat wrap stays in place no matter how rough the ride gets
Cons
  • May be difficult to clean once dirt has accumulated

Great solution for eliminating exhaust radiant heat

I had to wrap a muffler and exhaust pipes on my 56 T'Bird for 1) shielding B&M transmission shift cable from heat and 2) reduce radiant heat into interior of car. This accomplished both. The ties are okay for small exhaust pipes. They due give a little bit after snugging them up, so they do not work as well plastic ties (not usable for high temp). I bought 11" ties and had to link two together to surround muffler. As a work around for inability of tightening ties real snug, I put a dab of…

Pros
  • It is lightweight and easy to install, making it convenient for motorcycle enthusiasts
Cons
  • Ties may fray and come apart over time

Looks awesome and works well

This looks awesome on my motorcycle and helps keep heat of my leg and able to ride with shorts now, I like that it came with metal zip ties and gloves because you dont want to touch this barehanded no bueno lol I honestly didn't use the zip ties since hoes clamps work better and tighten better to hold at the ends but also recommend to soak in water for about 5

Pros
  • Heat resistant thus far
Cons
  • Fiberglass material may be harmful if inhaled

It Shields Heat: my feedback

The Green Egg lid fell on my brand new $48 Big Green loop lighter. (I went through three Looftlighters in 7 years…no more!). The plastic handle was shattered, so I bought this heat wrap and just made an ugly handle over the broken plastic one. It work. Ugly, but works. When this unravels, There’s 40 feet left to make another.

Pros
  • Works very good for heat reduction looks great purchasing more
Cons
  • Can be challenging to clean once installed

Complete wrap kit for a low price

Just received this earlier today and installed it on a complete system. When wrapped with the stainless adhesive tape and clamped with the stainless ties I purchased from Walmart then coated with the silicone insulating spray the exterior exhaust surface temperature averaged 20 degrees cooler than the previous products I utilized. The turbo spools quicker and the waste gate opens sooner resulting in reduced lag. The precats light off about 20% sooner and their internal temps are at the upper…

Pros
  • The heat wrap comes in a roll, making it easy to customize the length to suit your needs
Cons
  • May have limited coverage area

Works nicely if you can get on tight and secure both end. Ended up using Stainless steel wire to secure it. Should work better if whatever your wrapping is sitting on your work bench.

Pros
  • 2"X50' Titanium Wrap with (pack of 16) Stainless Steel(304) Locking Ties.
Cons
  • May not offer a complete seal around the exhaust system
