Level 5 - Premium

I'm very picky when it comes to 4 inch knives and this knife is as good as anything I've used before. I've been cutting drywall for over 15 years so I can say with some authority that this is a quality, well made knife. Level 5 gets my approval! UPDATE #1 A year and a half later in daily use and this blade still works! Update #2 June 10th 2021 I still use this knife daily and it's still as good as the day I got it. Good product!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive

BEST KNIVES the best painting supplies and tools

I do a lot of drywall work and have tried all the knives. My main set is the USG set which I love but after using this 6" cone I will be upgrading all my knives to level 5. Lightweight, great blade flexibility for blade cutting, metal end for nailing, this even comes with a small plastic blade guard. (I recommend leaving a plastic protector on when not in use to keep your A1 blade in pristine condition.) I mentioned IT'S LIGHT! The lightest knives I've tried feel great in the hand.

Quality paints, wall care products and accessories

Great drywall knife! Little did I know there was a company that made products that made everything else look like it was bought in a discount cart. Everything about this knife is just the way you want it for premium results. The polished SS blade with all sharp edges barely removed made this knife a pleasure to use and clean. Definitely looking forward to replacing my other hand tools from this company. Shows a high level of quality. You will not be disappointed.

What You Need to Know

The first thing to know is that there are many different materials used in tie knives. The most common is probably carbon steel, which is prone to rust but is slightly more flexible. On the downside, this band knife is made out of stainless steel, so while it won't rust, it's less malleable (and so may not be for everyone). If you know you need a stainless steel band knife, this is still a great option for you. As with many other band knives I would suggest a modification - by grinding/rounding

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Only available in black

This is the highest quality I have ever seen and I have bought several wallpaper knives. The handle is shaped to fit my hand and the rubber is grippy. The edge of the blade is slightly pointed. almost rounded both at the edge and at the corners. It looks like it has been used for a few hundred hours. It bends well, like a blue carbon steel blade, but doesn't rust. With this knife I put ligaments on the room, and not a single driftwood, including corner ligaments. No other knife I've bought and…

Well made, good value for money

I have been doing drywall for 28 years. I have tried almost all knives. I've used many of these that were once good and then gradually declined in quality over the years. So I tried these knives, they can't be any worse than what's out there. Firstly, yes the sticker peels off instantly 👍 the grip is a plus. It also has a good grip and the hammer head is solid and has some weight. I like that the light weight on the back helps tighten screws better, and the stainless steel blade has a slight…

Glad I have it: paint, wall care and accessories

The picture shows drywall knives that I use for repairs. The collection has grown over time. Turns out a 4 inch drywall knife comes in handy for finishing corners. The photo is third from the left. Definitely stainless steel! Otherwise they rust, then the rust gets into the dirt, onto the wall and seeps through the paint. It makes a lot more sense to start with stainless steel. Revain asked three questions about the features: 1. Durability? 5 Stars. Fest.2. comfort? 5 Stars. I happily take this

Good knife for art supplies and tools

Good knife for drywall. Comfortable grip. Blade bend just right. When it comes to blades, you can't beat stainless steel - it's the way to go. The hammer tip on the handle works. Good shape at the edges. When gluing, the blade easily tears both paper and mesh tape when they are attached. Universal drywall tool. It complements two more level 5 tools in my drywall kit. All is well. 3" size is required for corners. Photo shows knives lined up for a group photo. 3" knife top left, red handle. I…
