So far so good for the money

Just a few hundred miles in my Ford 4.9L (300ci) 6 cyl. hazards. but so far it's been great. The machined areas where the cap holders grip could be better but they hold the cap normally. No problems putting it on the oil pump shaft or on the block, side covers on the engine removed as normal. Time will tell as to the durability of the module and pickup coil, but all looks good and it's an inexpensive solution if something goes wrong. The mechanical feed added 15 degrees and the vacuum feed…

As described. quality ignition.

I fitted this to a '65 F-100 with an inline 300cc engine. cm, 4.9L. Some would say stick to the points, but I still have my points distributor in my pocket. This solved my problem with insufficient spark leading to a poor start. I've upgraded the intake, exhaust, carburetor and more so I needed a hotter and bigger spark to go with it. I can't tell how long it will be because I just got it, but I'm sure. He is very fat and well built. With such products, a cheap manufacturer makes compromises…

cheap parts.

Very cheap production when I tried to remove the plug wire I adjusted put the distributor cap on it pulled all the contacts out of the cap. I had to reassemble it and glue it in there. Then the speedometer cable gave no signal. I remove the cover from the coil to see where the wires connect. The wire was so badly crimped that it was severed. I soldered in a new cable and it works fine. I sent a question to the manufacturer and did not receive a reply. I really can't recommend this product, but…

This is of great importance. Expect problems with the oil pump.

If you have an upgrade, do it this way. I have 76 f150 with 4.9. I am having lead time/vacuum issues at a standard Ford dealership. So I bought that. I haven't even changed the gap on my spark plugs, but it's a noticeable difference. Be sure to attach the spark plug leads and set piston 1 to top dead center, remove the old cap while it's still in place and mark the vacuum advance position on the block. Line up the new distributor just like your old one and route the wire to the starter solenoid

  • Lots of positive emotions

A good option to get rid of the Autolite headache!

Easy enough to install for anyone working on a semi mechanic. I've been tormented my entire life so it took me about 15 minutes to install and then some tweaking to set it up. renowned aftermarket distributor at half price. My negatives from experience. and why did I only give a 4 star review! 1) I installed the connector wires along the length of the old wires, then after routing I decided to swap two out for a cleaner setup. When I unplugged the cord it separated in the trunk and I had 3" of…

Quick and easy best in Manifolds and Parts

I installed this manifold along with a new carburetor on a 1965 Ford F100 with a 240 inline 6 engine. The original installation was a Load-A-Matic vacuum feed manifold with an Autolite carburetor 1100. I struggled with this setup for years. The truck started and ran well, but the handling was terrible. It had no power, often stalled and would not restart. I wanted to replace the carburetor with something else, but the original manifold didn't work with the other carburetor. Both had to be…
