One of the latches didn't engage a defect nothing to do with the adjustment it just didn't engage I had to sharpen it a bit it clicked and closed couldn't return as I Got a new smoker and had it welded on so the smoker doors don't open when driving the trailer, will definitely check once I have them to make sure they both work properly.

Was hoping this would fit my 40 year old aluminum table tennis table which has weakened over the years. The fact that it locks and has to be unlocked before opening is a plus. I just have to remember to open it before I fold and clear the table. I assumed I would have to install it on both sides, but so far only one side works well enough.

Needed a new latch to replace the one that broke on my Jeep's trunk. This one is very similar, screw holes lined up and all, but there is one serious design flaw. The lip at the base of the safety pad is too short and you can just pull the pad without pressing the safety lever and unlock it. I checked another one and it was the same. Not at all sure and I will take another one.

Bought it to lock my rotating case, so far it's doing its job perfectly. I've driven my jeep on some pretty rough and bumpy trails and the latch hasn't budged. I like the safety lever. I installed a carbide work box on my welding trailer. It doesn't come with a latch. I bought these and assembled them with nuts and bolts.
